.6.Basil.Basil  So much for carefree schoolgirls. One problem with that is us both being guys. Another problem, the whole carefree part evaporated as soon as we reached the main rode, when we stopped skipping. No, it wasn't a joke. Even though we could, we weren't turning back any time soon. This was running for real, danger for real. It's not selfish. This isn't for me. Not selfish. Not for me. I'll never be able to convince myself.  We cross over to the other side of the road, slowly and quietly. Chayton will never admit what he feels right now. I don't want to know. I'm sure it involves how foolish this is.  This road is much shorter .6.Basil.

.5.Vivien.Vivien  "Did he just-?"  "He did, no doubt."  So Aspen had just seriously winked at me. Wow. I thought I had been hallucinating.  "Come on, Vivien. You know he likes you. He's been into you since fifth grade."  "No kidding." I just wouldn't admit that it was true. It was impossible to understand. I mean, it couldn't seriously just be for the reason that Amie and I are the only two girls in his Honors English class who haven't bothered to bat our eyelashes while around him. He definitely seems like the kind of guy who would love the flirty girls, even if not the I-wish-I-were-seductive ones, then all the rest. And my l .5.Vivien.

.4.Basil. RevisedBasil  Dizzy and sweating I step down onto the ladder leading down from the roof, Chayton below me. I hold his promise to catch me above his head. I doubt he could actually catch me, because I am nearly as tall as him, but he would at least protect me from a hard fall. Deadlocked at the second step down, the feeling of pins and needles jabbing into my legs, Chayton laughs at me. He doesn't know what guts it took me to actually admit to him that I'm scared of heights, but to actually climb onto the roof and through our bedroom window is obvious to anyone who could see me right now. The world spins and I feel as if I am falling, down, off .4.Basil. Revised

RevisedVivien  Ten minutes later, we pull into the Starbucks parking lot, Amie's mom's green Subaru Outback nowhere in sight yet.  I get out of the car, "Thanks, dad."  "You want me to come?"  "Whatever," I say, not wanting to hurt his feeling by just a straight out no.  He catches on, though, "Call me when you need me to come and get you, unless Mrs. Connelly wants to drive you home."  "Oh! I forgot to mention that Amie's coming to spend the day at our house."  "Thanks for the info, Viv." He leans over to kiss me as I close the door- right in his face. Oops.

Wow, you must be crazy.
Your imagination is running wild, isn't it?
No kidding, really. I'm here. And attempting to write more.
Actually, I mean I am going to try rewriting and fixing everything.
And all that jazz, you know?
Next step is actually adding.
Just thought I'd let everyone who still cares know.

EDIT: I added revised versions of chapters 1-4 for your reading pleasure (Hah, yeah right) which really aren't that different. I did manage to add a chapter, though. And it needs COMMENTS!!
